Our Mission & Goal

GROW For Life® is a Breast Cancer Research & Education Foundation that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle. We spread the message that breast cancer is a solvable problem. When supporter attend a GFL event or purchase Lily arrangements/ products from floral centers, donations are made to help in the BATTLE against Breast Cancer.

Spearheaded by a beast cancer survivor and her friends, GFL was formed in April, 2001 in Pennsylvania, and received its 501 (c) 3 status n March 2002. The foundation's roots have spread across the United States.

GFL Lilyfests for breast cancer research & education blossom in many cities. It features breast cancer awareness and action programs and lily design show by master floral artists.

Sixty percent of funding goes to breast cancer research and forty percent to education. Selection of designated hospital/institutions to receive funding is made by the GFL Board of Directors with recommendations from the Associated Advisory Board.

Each year in the united States, over 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Through advancements in research and greater awareness, survival rates have increased. Substantial progress has taken place not only in early diagnosis and treatment, but also in cosmetic outcomes and emotional well-begin.
